attitude problem
After 7 days, I found faults with the 2007 caravan. I raised this with the young lad with slick back hair.
He seemed nice, the sort you could talk with but after sending the photo of the roof, he phoned me so angry. Guns blazing. Accusing me of sabotaging the caravan!

Purely because my partner had expressed we might want to return it or exchange it for a smaller caravan the day before I had had a chance to submit the faults and my concerns.
I was absolutely gobsmacked. I stood my ground and told him we were gonna fall out if he carried on speaking to me like that. Fortunately for me, I had photo evidence to back me up. See photos where the rubber was popped out on the roof (he accused me of doing that), but then you can see the mark left behind from where it had been sat getting weathered/perished before I got it.

I could go on but I've said enough.

Bad attitude. 1/5.
He did deliver the caravan "In good faith!" which he repeatedly yelled at me down the phone. So, I'll give them another star 2/5 for all that good faith.

I was given the details of MTL as they claim to do mobile servicing of caravans and I needed mine checking over as I was driving back to Bedfordshire to collect it and take it to our new home in Dorset and it had been in storage for 16 months with no use. I was reassured it would be done before I was going to collect it.  The owner of the storage facility where it was being stored is available 24/7 on his mobile and in 6 years, I have never not been able to get through to him.  MTL “tried several times but he didn’t answer.” Hmm! Course you did.  I’d committed to picking up the van on the 3rd to tow it back and committed to a 300 mile round trip.  When I gave the caravan a once-over, I found reduced tyre pressures, a leaking wheel bearing and binding brakes, but had to take it regardless and hope for the best. It was a very stressful journey back and 30 miles short of home smoke was pouring out of the wheel arches due to the binding brakes. Fortunately, I’d got 4 pints of water on board for our dogs, so was able to cool both brakes and wait for them to cool down.  Had I been told at the outset that he couldn’t be arsed to do the inspection, I could have looked elsewhere.

Outstanding
